They were really penetrating and using picks well. We changed up our defense a little bit. We always say pick it up defensively and be patient on offense. We play a lot of freshmen and sophomores so Ive seen this team play like a top-20 team and like a bottom of the 200 team. Were young and very inconsistent. I feel like we beat a very good Washington team.

In the first half we got a lot of good open looks but we just werent hitting them. In the second half we shot 57 percent and were knocking them down. Whether youre a starter or coming off the bench, youve got to be ready. We just need to get it done. Were counting on offense too much, our offense should be coming from our defense.The Pac-10 is right around the corner. Its coming very quick. Our first two opponents are very tough, especially at home. The Pac-10 is going to be tougher than its ever been.
