
Washington Gymnastics Team Defeats Boise State

Boise, ID - The Washington women's gymnastics team picked up its first victory of the season by defeating Boise State 191.800 to 191.075. Washington was led by sophomore Emily Pritchard, who won the bars with a score of 9.8. Pritchard finished second in the all-around at 38.775.
Boise State's Jamie Johns took the all-around title with a score of 39.075. Johns finished first on vault (9.825), beam (9.775) and tied teammate Carla Chambers for the floor title (9.775).
As a team, Washington scored 48.475 on vault, 47.85 on bars, 47.575 on beam and 47.90 on floor. Boise State scored 47.9 on vault, 47.425 on bars, 47.35 on beam and 48.35 on floor.
The Huskies will host 20th-ranked California Sunday at 1 p.m. at Bank of America Arena at Hec Edmundson Pavilion.
