No. 6 UCLA Wins Three-Way Gym Meet at Washington

Seattle - UCLA scored at least 49.050 on all four events to win a three-way women's gymnastics meet with Washington and Seattle Pacific. The sixth-ranked Bruins scored 197.050 while the Huskies placed second at 195.000. Seattle Pacific scored 191.775. The meet drew a crowd of 3,123 at Bank of America Arena.
Washington sophomore Emily Pritchard won the all-around competition with a score of 39.525. Pritchard tied ULCA's Jeannette Antolin for first on vault with a score of 9.950. Pritchard was second on floor exercise with a 9.900.
The Huskies other event winner was freshman Carly Dockendorf, who scored 9.950 to finish first on floor.
UCLA's Jamie Dantzcher, a member of the 2000 U.S. Olympic team, and Malia Jones shared the beam title with scores of 9.875. Dantzcher also finished first on bars at 9.975. Jones finished second to Pritchard in the all-around at 39.325.
Seattle Pacific's Alison Siegal-McAfee placed third overall in the all-around at 38.875.
The win improved UCLA's record to 12-4, while the Huskies now stand 4-5 and the Falcons are 3-7.
