POST-GAME NOTES
The Huskies' 114-point total was their highest single-game output since they amassed a school-record 130 against Chico State on Dec. 1, 1991 (UW 130, Chico State 67). It ties four the fourth-highest output by a UW team.
The 61-point margin of victory ties for the 10th-largest all-time at Washington and second largest since 1950.
This is believed to be the first time a Washington team has had eight players register double-figure points during the same game. There is no record of even seven double-figure scorers. The last time UW had six double-figure scorers was March 13, 2004 against Arizona in the semifinals of the Pac-10 Tournament.
The Huskies improved their record to 9-1, the best start by a UW team since the 1991 squad also opened 9-1. That 1991 team lost its 11th game. The current team plays its 11th game Friday against Houston, seeking to improve to 10-1. That would secure the Huskies' best start since the 1975-76 squad won its first 14 games.
Will Conroy matched his career high with 13 assists, tying for the fourth-best total ever for a UW player. Conroy also distributed 13 assists at Loyola Marymount on Dec. 12.
Bobby Jones set a new career-high with 14 rebounds. His previous best was 12 vs. USC (Jan. 8, 2004). Jones also tallied the third double-double of his career, his first this season.
The Huskies 21 steals sets a new school record. The previous-high of 20 was accomplished twice, vs. Chico State (Dec. 1, 1992) and vs. BYU (Nov. 26, 1996).
Sacred Heart committed 34 turnovers, the highest total ever for a UW opponent. The previous opponent single-game high was turned in by USC which had 33 turnovers on Jan. 11, 1986.
Washington won its ninth non-conference game, its highest regular-season total outside Pac-10 play since the 1990-91 team also won nine. The last time a UW team registered more non-conference wins was 1976 when Marv Harshman's team won 13 games outside of conference play.
Sacred Heart will meet another group of Huskies in their next outing. The Pioneers play at Connecticut on Dec. 28.
