Hadzic and Simpson Lose in Quarters at Regionals

PALO ALTO, Calif. - The Husky doubles team of senior Dinka Hadzic and sophomore Tara Simpson dropped an 8-2 decision today in the quarterfinals of the ITA Northwest Regional on the Stanford campus.
Hadzic and Simpson, the tourney's sixth seed, lost to the second-seeded team of Alice Barnes and Anne Yelsey of Stanford.
Washington will next compete in their home debut, the Husky Invitational, from November 12-13 at the Nordstrom Tennis Center.
