POST-GAME NOTES
The Huskies won their 19th consecutive home game, tying for the sixth longest streak in school history. They equaled the 19-game home winning streak established by the UW teams from Dec. 14, 1909 to Feb. 24, 1913. Washington's last loss at home was against UCLA on Jan. 10, 2004.
Washington extended the longest streak in school history with its 13th straight Pac-10 home victory.
Senior Tre Simmons tossed in a career-high 29 points, including six 3-pointers. Simmons netted six treys on one previous occasion, against Oregon State on Jan. 15. The UW single-game 3-point record is seven held by Deon Luton (at USC, Jan. 29, 1998) and Senque Carey (at Old Dominion, Dec. 4, 1999).
Will Conroy registered his second double-double of the season, and his career. He tallied 13 points and distributed 10 assists. Conroy had an 11-point, 13-assist performance against Sacred Heart on Dec. 22, 2004.
Conroy has 134 assist this season, tying for the sixth-best figure in Husky history. He improved his career total to 430, moving within 36 of the school career assist record of 163 established by Chester Dorsey (1974-77).
The Huskies finished the game shooting 60-percent (42-70), their highest of the season. Their previous best was 57.4-percent (35-61) against Loyola Marymount (12/12/04) and Houston (12/24/04).
