Freshman Curtis Shaw saw his first action as a receiver for the Huskies. He played in 8 previous games this season as a running back.
Oregon State kicker Alexis Serna entered the game with a perfect 13-for-13 record for field goals in three previous games against the Huskies. He made it 14-for-14 with a 51-yarder to give OSU a 3-0 lead with 13:27 left in the second quarter then hit a 34-yarder with 8:32 left in the period to increase his streak against Washington to 15-straight. He hit a 43-yarder just before half for his 16th-straight and a 30-yarder in the third quarter for his 17th.
Washington QB Jake Locker suffered an undisclosed injury with approximately 8:00 left in the second period. The paramedics provided attention, he was immobilized and transported to Good Samaritin Hospital in Corvallis.
Washington did not score in the first half against ORegon State - marking the first scoreless first half this season.
Trenton Tuiasosopo registered his first career interception early in the second half.
E.J. Savannah recovered his second fumble of the season early in the third period off a forced fumble by Daniel Te'o-Nesheim of quarterbak Lyle Moevao.
UW backup QB Carl Bonnell registered his first rushing TD of the season with 8:29 left in the third period. He has three career rushing TD's - one each in 2005 and 2006.
