A total of 94 Washington players traveled to the Hawai'i game. Essentially, every player who is not injured or sick was able to make the trip.

UW sold its allotment of 2,700 tickets and university officials estimated the Washington contingent to be approximately 5,000.

The team was delayed by several hours on Friday prior to its travel to Hawai'i. An airplane mechanical issue prevented charter airline ATA from using its intended aircraft and a substitute was flown to Seattle from the East Coast to transport the team. The travel party departed Bank of America Arena at 10:15 a.m., departed SeaTac Airport at 5 p.m. and arrived at its hotel at approximately 10:30 p.m. (12:30 a.m. Pacific time).

The Husky Band sent 100 of its members to the game, in large part due to the generosity of a donor's assistance.

Washington QB Jake Locker's TD run on the Huskies' first drive of the game gave him 13 rushing TD's for the year, surpassing Mark Brunell for the most ever for a QB at UW. His 13 rushing TDs ties Locker with Hugh McElhenny (1951) for fifth on the UW single season chart

Louis Rankin's four kick returns for 100 yards including a 41-yard kickoff return to open the game, gave him 1,206 kick return yards in his career. He finished just behind Charles Frederick (1,329 from 2001-04) for fifth on the UW career list.

Entering the game, fullback Luke Kravitz had two career rushing TDs (both this season). He scored two of UW's first three TDs of the game in the first quarter.

Louis Rankin surpassed the 100-yard barrier early in the 2nd period and finished with 145 yards overall against Hawai'i. He has four 100-yard games this seson and seven in his career. He finished the season with 1,294 yards (5th all-time at UW) and his career with 2,154 overall (11th all-time at UW).

UW sophomore fullback Paul Homer scored his first career TD as a Husky with a one-yard plunge midway through the second quarter. The TD rush came after he caught a 10-yard reception from Jake Locker on the previous play. He appeared to have scored, but officials marked the ball just outside the goal line and UW's challenge was unsuccessful.

Jake Locker ended the season with 986 yards rushing, the best single season rushing performance for a quarterback in UW and Pac-10 history.
