
Sankey Named Walter Camp Second Team All-American

ORLANDO, Fla. – Washington tailback Bishop Sankey has earned a spot on the Walter Camp All-America second team. The All-America team was revealed Thursday at the Home Depot College Football Awards show, where Sankey was on hand as one of three finalists for the Doak Walker Award.
Sankey, a junior from Spokane, Wash., set a UW record with 1,775 rushing yards in 2013. Entering the bowl-game season, he ranks No. 3 in the nation in both yards and yards per game. His 18 rushing touchdowns rank No. 6 in the country.
The Huskies return to the practice field Friday in preparation for the Fight Hunger Bowl Dec. 27 at AT&T Park in San Francisco, where the Dawgs will take on BYU.
