Washington: Three-year letterwinner...A very talented player who is growing into her experience...Has her biggest wins when she focuses on the positive and lets her shots work for her...Is tied for fifth in career doubles wins (56), 17th in doubles career winning percentage (.622), and tied for 17th in all-time singles victories (47).
1998-99 (Junior): Won 19 doubles matches, which ties for ninth on the single-season win list...Teamed with Zuzana Stunova to form the No. 2 doubles team and was ranked as high as 41st late in the fall...Went 8-8 in that spot and 16-11 overall...That duo won the Flight I title at the UW Fall Invitational and advanced to the quarterfinals of Rolex Regionals...Played in the middle of the singles lineup, going 8-7 in dual matches and 14-12 overall....Lost in the finals of the UW Fall Invitational to Stunova in three sets...Advanced to the semifinals of Flight II at the Pac-10 Invitational...Earned ITA scholar-athlete and honorable mention Pac-10 all-academic honors.
1997-98 (Sophomore): Finished the year ranked 25th in singles and seventh in the doubles in the region...Won her NCAA regional singles match in the No. 6 spot over Amber Basica of USC (6-4, 6-3)...Recorded an upset win over No. 100 Amy Jensen of Cal (6-3, 6-4) at Pac-10 Indoors...Posted an 8-5 record at No. 4 singles during the spring...Won six consecutive matches (Feb. 20-Mar. 21)...Was a finalist of the UW Fall Invitational in Flight II and a semifinalist in Flight 2 at Pac-10 Indoors...Advanced to the third round of the Rolex Regional tournament...Finished with a 19-12 overall singles mark, which ties her for 14th on the Huskies' single-season win chart for singles...Formed the No. 1 doubles team with Kori Sosnowy, compiling an 11-8 mark...She and Zeta Wagner were finalists at the UW Fall Invitational in Flight I...Went 15-12 overall with three partners.
1996-97 (Freshman): Played at the Nos. 3, 4, 5 and 6 spots in singles, posting a 14-11 record...Paired with Zeta Wagner to form the No. 2 doubles team...That duo won eigh of its first nine games and compiled an overall mark of 17-8...Posted a 4-1 doubles record with various partners in the fall...Earned the team's Sportsmanship Award.
High School: Went undefeated with a 12-0 record and captured the state singles title as a senior at Sammamish...Was undefeated as a junior until the state tournament, finishing second...Placed third in league singles play as a freshman with a 9-2 slate...Took second in KingCo, district, and state her sophomore season...Earned team MVP honors as a sophomore and junior...Held the No. 1 singles spot all four years...Served as team captain her senior year...Received U.S. Army Reserve National Scholar-Athlete Award and KOMO Athlete of the Month Award (May) as a senior, maintaining a 4.0 GPA...Member of the National Honor Society.
