Washington: Two-time All-American is Washington's top returning player...earned singles and doubles All-American honors as a junior and singles as a sophomore...ranked 13th in ITA preseason poll...ranks fourth on Husky career singles wins list with 76...also fifth on Husky career doubles wins list with 67.
2003-04 (Junior): Earned All-American honors in singles and doubles, becoming first Husky ever to achieve both awards in the same season...named to the All-Pac-10 first-team as well as the Pac-10 All-Academic first-team...ranked 17th in the final ITA singles rankings...led the Huskies in combined singles and doubles wins with 54...split time at No. 1 and 2 singles with senior Claire Carter...compiled a 28-10 singles record and a 21-4 mark in dual play (9-2 at No. 1 and 12-2 at No. 2)...reached the second round of the NCAA Championships, losing to eventual champion Amber Liu of Stanford...made the quarterfinals of the Pac-10 Championships and semifinals of the Pac-10 Indoor Championships...amassed a 14-10 record against ranked opponents and did not suffer a single loss against an unranked opponent...reeled off a 12-match win streak to begin dual play from Jan. 23 to March 7...upset 39th-ranked Audra Falk in UW's 4-3 win over 6th-ranked Vanderbilt in the National Team Indoors...notched three wins in the Huskies' four NCAA tournament matches and was still on court in the NCAA dual with Arizona State when the Huskies clinched the win...played every doubles match of the year with senior Claire Carter and tied the record for season doubles wins with 26 against 14 defeats...Sumantri and Carter reached the quarterfinals of the NCAA Championships to tie for the best tournament run in history by a UW doubles duo...fell in the quarters to the 8th-ranked team of Kovacek and Lukowski of New Mexico, 7-5, 6-4...went 16-9 in dual play, all at the No. 1 position...finished as the 7th-ranked doubles team in the country...captured the doubles title at the Pac-10 Indoor Championships with a 9-7 win over Raquel Kops-Jones and Jieun Jacobs of Cal...in a dual against Stanford, upset the nation's No. 1 ranked team of Lauren Barnikow and Erin Burdette, 9-8 (6)...recorded 10 wins over ranked doubles teams including wins over the No. 2 and No. 7 doubles teams.
2002-03 (Sophomore): Had a breakout year...earned ITA All-America honors via her trip to the round of 16 at the NCAA Singles Championships...selected to All-Pac-10 second team...ended the season with a national singles rank of No. 29... went 30-9 overall, just two wins shy of tying the UW season record for wins in a season...compiled a singles dual record of 17-4, going 2-2 at No. 1, 9-2 at No. 2, and 6-0 at No. 3...recorded 20-9 mark in doubles with Colleen Gray as UW's No. 2 pair, including 16-5 dual record...won 23 of her first 26 singles matches, including a 17-match winning streak ... advanced to the third round of the NCAA Individual Championships...defeated two ranked opponents, No. 11 Alice Barnes (Stanford) and No. 30 Candice Fuchs (William & Mary), before falling to third-ranked Agata Cioroch (Georgia) in the Round of 16...won Flight 2 of the Pac-10 Indoor Singles Championship...with Gray, made it to the doubles semifinals at the Pac-10 Individual Championships...Pac-10 All-Academic second-team selection.
2001-02 (Freshman): Compiled a singles record of 15-8, including 13-7 dual mark...posted 2-2 record at No. 3 singles, as well as 4-2 at No.4, 2-2 at No. 5 and 5-1 at No. 6...teamed with Colleen Gray as No. 2 doubles team to compile a mark of 16-7...was 1-0 at no. 3 doubles with Andrea Coulter.
Juniors/High School: Attended the Buddhi Cisva School in Jakarta, Indonesia... was ranked as high as No. 52 internationally among juniors competitors ... achieved a No. 3 national ranking in the Indonesian listings.
