Played football from 1976 to 1979. Broke two rushing records set 28 years earlier to become the UW's single-season and all-time rushing leader; 1978 single-season rushing mark stood until 1990; career rushing record, set in 1979, stood until 1994; named Honorable Mention All-American, All-Coast and All-Conference honoree, led UW to a 10-2 record.
