Travell Dixon Joins UW Football Program
Nation's top-rated JC cornerback practiced today with Huskies.
2012: Redshirted the season due to NCAA transfer rules.
HIGH SCHOOL AND JUNIOR COLLEGE: Joined the UW after the third game of the 2012 season, prior to the start of the fall academic quarter ... spent the previous two seasons at Eastern Arizona College in Thatcher, Ariz., where he earned NJCAA All-America first-team honors as a sophomore in 2011 ... had 39 tackles and four interceptions in 2011 ... helped Gila Monsters to an 8-3 regular-season record and a berth in the Top of the Mountains Bowl in 2011 ... named all-league and all-region as a freshman at EAC in 2010 ... played one season of high school football at Norland, leading all of Dade County with seven interceptions.
