1999: Switched from safety to cornerback...an All-Pac-10 pick by The Football News...started all nine regular-season games he appeared in...missed the Oregon game due to a suspension...did not play vs. Washington State after aggravating a groin pull...that same injury slowed him during the Holiday Bowl ... an honorable mention All-Pac-10 selection...led the defense with six interceptions...that total stands as the most interceptions by a Husky since Walter Bailey had seven in 1991...returned interceptions for scores vs. Oregon State (44 yards) and Arizona (29 yards)...also led the defense with six pass breakups...named the KING-TV Co-Most Improved Defensive Player...had six interceptions to place second in the Pac-10, trailing only California All-American Deltha O'Neal...had two picks vs. Stanford...finished tied seventh in the nation with an average of 0.6 interceptions per game.
