
Kikaha Named Lott IMPACT Trophy Finalist

Postseason honors continue to roll in for Washington senior Hau'oli Kikaha, who was today named one of four finalists for the Lott IMPACT Trophy, honoring college football's defensive best in character and performance.
Kikaha, a buck linebacker from Laie, Hawai'i, will travel to the 11th annual award ceremony Dec. 14 in Newport Beach, Calif. The ceremony will be carried live on FOX Sports.
The Lott IMPACT Trophy, named in honor of All-America and Pro Football Hall of Fame safety Ronnie Lott, honors the student-athlete who best represent the qualities embodied by the award – Integrity, Maturity, Performance, Academics, Community and Tenacity.
Kikaha, who has overcome two different major knee injuries, has earned was named to the All-Pac-12 first team and the All-Academic first team and is also a finalist for the Lombardi, Butkus and Polynesian Player of the Year Awards. The NCAA sacks leader was also a first-team Academic All-District VIII selection.
The other three finalists for the award are Landon Collins (safety, Alabama), David Helton (linebacker, Duke) and Eric Kendricks (linebacker, UCLA).
