
Eldrenkamp, Lewis Named First Team Pac-12 All-Academic

SAN FRANCISCO – The Pac-12 Conference released the All-Academic football teams today and two Huskies earned first-team recognition, four were named to the second team and seven earned honorable mention.
Junior offensive lineman Jake Eldrenkamp and redshirt-freshman defensive back Brandon Lewis were named to the first team. Eldrenkamp, who has started nine games this season on the line, has a 3.67 grade point average in business administration with an emphasis on finance. He is a two-time member of the Pac-12's academic first team.
Lewis, who has appeared in 10 games this season, is a pre-engineering major and has compiled a 3.62 GPA.
Sophomores Dante Pettis and Sidney Jones, junior Shane Brostek and senior Siosifa Tufunga were all named to the second team. Pettis, a wide receiver, has a 3.25 GPA in pre-social sciences studies, while the offensive linemen Brostek (3.49) and Tufunga (3.21) are each majoring in American Ethnic studies.
Jones, who was a CoSIDA District 8 Academic All-American, boasts a 3.46 GPA in pre-health science studies.
The seven Huskies who earned honorable mention are: sophomore defensive back Budda Baker, sophomore linebacker Sean Constantine, redshirt-freshman offensive lineman Matt James, junior quarterback Jeff Lindquist, senior long snapper Ryan Masel, redshirt-freshman defensive back JoJo McIntosh and sophomore kicker Tristan Vizcaino.
