Huskies Announce 2016 Football Ticket Pricing Including New $198 Package
December 14, 2015 | Football
SEATTLE - Announced by department officials Monday, Husky Football season-tickets will be lowered as much as 33-percent in some sections, including the introduction of a new $198 season-ticket; the lowest offering since the 2013 stadium renovation. For the third consecutive year, there will be no increase in non-premium season-tickets and all Tyee donation levels will stay the same. Husky season-ticket holders will receive their 2016 renewal packet containing details of their individual tickets this week.
“The 2016 pricing changes reflect a priority of affordability and accessibility. As Coach Petersen continues to build on a base of exciting young talent, we want to make sure that Husky Football stays accessible for families and new fans who want to be part of the ascent,” Lance Lopes, Sr. Associate Athletic Director, said. “Fortunately we have been able to do that while remaining flat in all non-premium seating as well.”
Fans will see a lot of familiar faces during the 2016 season, as Petersen's Dawgs will return a wealth of talent from the 2015 campaign. The Huskies are the third-youngest NCAA team to qualify for a 2015 bowl, and look for quarterback Jake Browning and running back Myles Gaskin to build on historic true freshmen seasons. The UW defense was atop the Pac-12 statistically, and will return seven starters for the 2016 campaign. Washington's 2016 home slate includes seven home games, highlighted by the USC Trojans and Pac-12 North rival Stanford.
