SALT LAKE – UW gymnastics was solid on all four events on its way to a 196.000 in the first session of the Pac-12 Championships saturday afternoon at the University of Utah.

For Fechter, it was her fifth straight meet with a 9.8 or higher on beam and eighth of the season, most on the team.
The Huskies posted a 49.100 on floor, led by Burleson's 9.85, which was at that point the highest score given out at the meet and just off her personal-best. The Huskies finished in third place in the first session and seventh overall. The 196.000 was the Huskies' second straight meet at 196 or higher and fourth of the season.
Up next for the GymDawgs is a strip to the NCAA Regionals at one of six locations. Each of the regional meets will take place on Saturday, April 4. The Huskies await their designated location, which will be revealed this coming Monday, March 23.
"We have two weeks to prepare for Regionals and we are definitely gaining confidence in the way we have competed the last few meets," Bowers said.
