Kopcalic Wins Singles Title, Hance and Zamani Claim Doubles Victory

SPOKANE, Wash. --- The Washington women's tennis team finished the final day of play at the Bulldog Invite on Sunday. Junior Katarina Kopcalic took home a singles title in the Blue Singles draw while freshman Delara Zamani and senior Kenadi Hance won the Zag Doubles Draw.

Kopcalic beat her Husky teammate Hance in Blue Singles Draw championship match 6-1, 3-6, 10-7.

In the Blue Singles flight, freshman Nika Zupancic finished third in her first collegiate tournament by beating Husky teammate Zamani 6-4, 6-4 in the third place match.

Junior Abbey Watanabe defeated Alex Walker from Montana in the seventh place match, winning 6-1, 6-3 in the white singles draw.

In the Zag Doubles Flight, it was an all Husky final as Zamani and Hance defeated Zupancic and Kopcalic 6-2.
