SEATTLE --- Single game tickets for the University of Washington women's basketball 2019-20 season are now on sale at gohuskies.com and through the UW Ticket Office.
The Huskies have already announced a packed home schedule in non-conference play, beginning November 8 against Cal State Fullerton. Washington hosts a total of seven home games in non-conference play, closing out the slate with the 25th Husky Classic Dec. 20-21 at Alaska Airlines Arena. Washington welcomes in Vanderbilt, UC Irvine and San Francisco for the two-day classic, with the Huskies taking on the USF on Dec. 20 and the Vanderbilt on Dec. 21.
As always, the Huskies play a challenging conference schedule with nine home games against teams in the toughest women's basketball conference in the country. Washington opens conference play against Washington State on Saturday, Jan. 11 in the Boeing/Apple Cup Series match-up. UW also welcome in the Arizona schools (Arizona State - Jan. 17, Arizona - Jan. 19), the Bay area schools (Stanford - Jan. 31, California - Feb. 2), the mountain schools (Utah - Feb. 7, Colorado - Feb. 9) and the LA schools (USC - Feb. 21, UCLA - Feb. 23).
Washington closed out the 2018-19 season with an impressive run through the Pac-12 Tournament, upsetting Utah and Oregon State to reach the tournament semifinals for the second time in program history. The Huskies return 85 percent of their scoring from last year, adding a trio of four-star recruits and a talented junior college transfer point guard to the 2019-20 squad.
