
Washington Announces Complete 2019-20 Schedule

SEATTLE --- The 2019-20 Washington women's basketball schedule has been finalized with the Pac-12 announcing the conference schedule including game times and TV selections the season on Thursday.
For the first time, the Pac-12 Network will broadcast all 104 Pac-12 women's basketball games this season giving the Huskies 18 nationally-televised games in 2019-20.
"I'm thrilled the Pac-12 Network will be broadcasting every Pac-12 women's basketball game this season," said Wynn. "This is the best women's basketball conference in the country and showcasing each and every game this season will allow everyone to see just how great the Pac-12 is!"
Washington opens the season with four-straight home games, facing Cal State Bakersfield (Nov. 8), Tulane (Nov. 10), Weber State (Nov. 13) and cross-town rival Seattle U (Nov. 23) in the opening homestand. The match-up with Weber State on Nov. 13 is the Huskies' first-ever Kid's Day Celebration with an early start time of 10:00 a.m.
After a trip to Puerto Rico over Thanksgiving Weekend to face Iona, Howard and Iowa, Washington returns home to face Hawaii on Dec. 8 (7:30 p.m.) before traveling to face San Diego on Dec. 15.
UW hosts the Husky Classic over Dec. 20 and 21, taking on San Francisco at 6:00 p.m. on Dec. 20 and Vanderbilt at 4:00 p.m. on Dec. 21. The classic also features UC Irvine playing Vanderbilt at 8:00 p.m. on Friday and San Francisco at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
The Huskies open the conference slate with three-straight road games, starting with a trip to Pullman to open the Boeing Apple Cup Series at Washington State at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 29.
Washington then opens the new year with a trip to the Bay area, facing California on Jan. 3 and Stanford on Jan. 5.
UW battles Washington State in its first Pac-12 home game, hosting the Cougars on Saturday, Jan. 11 at 12:30 p.m. for the final game of the Boeing Apple Cup Series.
The Huskies remain home after that, hosting Arizona State at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 17, and Arizona on Sunday, Jan. 19 at 12:00 p.m.
Washington hits the road again for a trip to SoCal, battling UCLA on Friday, Jan. 24, at 7:00 p.m. and USC on Sunday, Jan. 26 at 12:00 p.m.
The Huskies return to Hec Ed on Friday, Jan. 31, hosting Stanford at 7:00 p.m. in the first game of a four-game home stand. Next up is California on Sunday, Feb. 2 at 12:00 p.m. Washington then takes on Utah on Friday, Feb. 7 at 7:00 p.m. and Utah on Sunday, Feb. 9 at 12:00 p.m. in the lone matchups with the mountain schools in 2019-20.
UW hits the road again, heading to the desert schools with Arizona first up on Friday, Feb. 14 at 6:00 p.m. (PT) with a showdown against Arizona State on Sunday, Feb. 16 at 11:00 a.m.
The final homestand of the season sees the Huskies face the SoCal schools again, hosting USC on Friday, Feb. 21 at 7:00 p.m. before celebrating Senior Day against UCLA on Sunday, Feb. 23 at 12:00 p.m.
Washington closes out the regular season on the road, taking on the Oregon schools for the lone time of the season. On Friday, Feb. 28 at 6:00 p.m. the Huskies face off against Oregon State at 6:00 p.m. in Corvallis, then take on Oregon on Sunday, Mar. 1 at 12:00 p.m.
Washington closed out the 2018-19 season with an impressive run through the Pac-12 Tournament, upsetting Utah and Oregon State to reach the tournament semifinals for the second time in program history. The Huskies return 85 percent of their scoring from last year, adding a trio of four-star recruits and a talented junior college transfer point guard to the 2019-20 squad.
