
Plum Heads Into WNBA Playoffs As Player Of The Month

LAS VEGAS – Former Husky great Kelsey Plum closed out the 2021 regular season with a bang. She was named WNBA Western Conference Player of the Month for September after helping lead the Las Vegas Aces to a 5-1 record while averaging 21.7 points per game.
Plum also averaged 3.0 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game while making 49.4 percent of her field goal attempts, including 41.2 percent from three-pointers and 97 percent from the free throw line. Her efforts were a big reason why Las Vegas was able to lock up the number two seed in the WNBA Playoffs.
She also earned WNBA Player of the Week honors after the Aces went 3-0 and she averaged 24.3 points.
Plum finished the season averaging 14.8 points and 3.6 assists per game, while converting 38.6 percent of her three-pointers and 94.4 percent of her free throw attempts.
