October 27, 2025 | Football
SEATTLE – Washington wide receiver Denzel Boston has been named Big Ten Co-Offensive Player of the Week, the conference office announced today.
It is the fifth Big Ten weekly honor the Huskies have earned this season with running back Jonah Coleman and quarterback Demond Williams Jr. both earning the award twice. It is the first conference honor of Boston's career.
In UW's 42-25 win over Illinois, Boston had 10 receptions for 153 yards with a touchdown – both are career-highs. He also threw for a 12-yard touchdown in the second quarter. Boston is the first Husky non-quarterback to throw from a touchdown since Dillon Johnson in 2023. In addition, Boston was the first Husky to throw and catch a touchdown pass in the same game since Dante Pettis in 2016.
This season, Boston caught 44 passes for 668 yards. His seven touchdown receptions are 10th-most in the nation and second-most in the Big Ten.
