
Huskies Earn Big Ten Accolades

SEATTLE – Eight Huskies received recognition from the Big Ten as the conference announced its year-end honors this week.
Denzel Boston earned a third team nod by the coaches and media at wide receiver.
Earning honorable mention honors are return specialist Boston (coaches & media), offensive tackle Carver Willis (coaches & media), running back Jonah Coleman (coaches & media), quarterback Demond Williams Jr. (coaches), offensive guard John Mills (media), safety Alex McLaughlin (coaches & media), cornerback Ephesians Prysock (media) and cornerback Tacario Davis (media).
Coleman was also named the team's sportsmanship honoree.
Boston ranked fifth in the Big Ten – and 10th nationally – with 10 receiving touchdowns while ninth with 755 yards. His 10 touchdowns are tied for seventh-most in a single season in UW history. On special teams, Boston had eight punt returns totaling 104 yards including bringing one back for a touchdown.
Willis played in and started in nine games at left tackle. Mills started in 10 games between right tackle and left guard. The duo helped the Huskies rush for an average of 168.7 yards per game and have three 500-yard rushers in the same season for the first time in program history.
Coleman appeared in 11 games while making 10 starts. He rushed for 673 yards while also catching 30 passes for 344 yards. His 16 total touchdowns rank fifth-most in the nation. He was also twice named the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week. Coleman is also a finalist for both the William V. Campbell Trophy and Paul Hornung Award.
Williams Jr. finished the regular season ranked 11th nationally with a 70% completion percentage. The sophomore passed for 2,850 yards with 21 touchdowns while running for another 595 and adding six TDs. His 287.1 total offense per game is 19th in the FBS. Williams was honored as the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week twice this season and named to the Davey O'Brien Class of 2025.
McLaughlin made an immediate impact in his first season as a Husky, leading the team with 90 tackles and two interceptions – returning one back for a touchdown. He also had a fumble returned for a TD against UCLA.
Prysock started in all 12 games and finished fifth on the team with 45 tackles. He tallied six pass breakups with an interception. Prysock had a season-high nine tackles in the win over Illinois.
Davis started in seven games, missing the other five due to injury. He finished the regular season in a tie for the team lead with two interceptions. Davis also added 19 tackles, three pass breakups and a TFL to his total.
