POCATELLO, Idaho – Washington earned its 20th win of the season following a 5-2 victory over Boise State on Monday morning at Miller Ranch Stadium to close out the Black and Orange Classic.

The Huskies move to 20-7 on the season.

Stevie Hansen picked up her second win of the weekend to improve to 6-0 overall. She stuck out six batters. Morgan Reimer earned the save after pitching the final frame with a strikeout. Reimer moves into a tie for seventh in a UW single season history with three saves.

Riley Peschek put the Huskies on the board in the bottom of the second with an RBI double to score Tia Durst.

Boise State answered with a two-run double in the top of the third to take a 2-1 lead.

Washington re-took the lead in the bottom half of the inning with four consecutive hits by Ava Carroll, Jadyn Glab, Alycia Flores and Charity Sevaaetasi to go up 3-2.

In the fourth, Peschek led off the inning with a single up the middle and came around to score on a Glab fielder's choice.

Alexis DeBoer hit her fifth home run of the weekend – and 12th of the season – to extend the lead out to three in the fifth. DeBoer has an RBI in 13 consecutive games and a hit in 10 straight games.
