
Russon, Innes Earn All-Big Ten Honors; Pires Recognized For Sportsmanship

ROSEMONT, Ill. — Washington gymnasts Taylor Russon and Emily Innes have been named to the All-Big Ten Second Team, the conference office announced Monday. Additionally, Emily Pires was recognized as a Big Ten Sportsmanship honoree.
Russon, a graduate student, has competed in every bars, beam and floor lineup during the 2025 season. She has recorded season-best scores of 9.925 on bars, 9.950 on beam and 9.800 on floor. Russon has also claimed or shared eight event titles this season and is an AAI Award nominee, an honor recognizing the nation's top senior gymnast.
Innes, a junior, was named to the Big Ten Preseason Gymnast to Watch list ahead of the season. She has appeared in every vault, beam and floor lineup this year, earning season-best scores of 9.800 on vault, 9.900 on bars and 9.925 on floor. Innes has won or co-won six event titles this season.
