SEATTLE – The Big Ten Conference announced its postseason all-conference awards Tuesday morning, and three Huskies took home honors.
Elle Ladine notched a spot on the All-Big Ten Second Team, while Sayvia Sellers and Dalayah Daniels earned All-Big Ten Honorable Mention.
Daniels was also named a Big Ten Women's Basketball Sportsmanship honoree, as the league selects one player from each team for this recognition.
This season, Ladine has recorded 10 20+-point performances, highlighted by a career-high 40-point game at Northwestern on Dec. 28.
The junior has earned USBWA National Player of the Week honors, AP Player of the Week Honorable Mention, and made the Big Ten Women's Basketball Weekly Honor Roll twice this season (Jan. 6 and Feb. 24).
Ladine scored her 1,000th career point in a 28-point outing as she helped guide the Huskies to a win at Nebraska.
In conference play, the San Francisco, Calif. native is third in scoring (19.22 PPG) and fifth in field goal percentage (51.5%).
She leads the league in shooting from beyond the arc, connecting on triples at a 44.1 percent clip and is tied for second-most threes made at 2.5 per contest.
Daniels has notched eight double-doubles this season bringing her career total to 26. Earlier this year, the hometown product moved into No. 2 all-time on UW's blocked shots list as she now sits at 156 blocks at Washington (203 career).
Daniels has reached double figures in nine of her last 10 games, including three 20+ outings.
The grad student is second in the Big Ten in steals (2.39 SPG), third in field goal percentage (57.9%), tied for sixth in blocked shots (1.61 BPG), and 12th in rebounding (7.72 RPG).
Sellers has also notched 20+ points on 10 occasions this season, twice including career-high 30-point games against Utah (Dec. 14) and Michigan (Jan. 15).
Sellers is 19th in the B1G in scoring at 15 PPG, ranked eighth in the league in three-point percentage (38.0%), and fifth in threes made (2.28 per game).
The sophomore was slotted on the league's weekly honor roll after averaging 27.0 PPG (Jan. 20) across a two-game stretch against Michigan and Purdue.
She has recorded 12 games this season with five or more assists and is seventh in the conference in assists per game (4.28).
