
Lim Leads As Huskies Improve In Round Two At Big Ten Championships

HAVRE DE GRACE, Md. – The Washington women's golf team made a strong push in the second round of the Big Ten Women's Golf Championships on Saturday, cutting 18 strokes off its opening score with an eight-over par for the team after round two at Bulle Rock Golf Club. The Huskies moved into 16th place heading into the final round.
Carmen Lim continued to lead Washington, posting a second straight two-over 72. She sits at four-over for the tournament, tied for 37th overall.
Athena Ni made the biggest jump for the Huskies, bouncing back from a +10 in the first round to a two-over par in round two to move into a tie for 75th.
Wendy Tang followed with a four-over, improving three shots from her first-round score and currently sits tied for 70th. Amber Li carded a 78 to finish day two at +13, tied for 80th.
After a DQ caused by an incorrectly signed scorecard in the first round, Vivian Lu fired an even-par 72, Washington's best round of the day. She currently sits in 87th for the tournament with a non-applicable total score due to round one's disqualification.
The Huskies will return to the course even earlier Sunday at 5 a.m. for the final round of the Big Ten Women's Golf Championships at Bulle Rock Golf Club, partnered with Indiana and Nebraska.
