
Coleman Earns Doak Walker National Running Back Of The Week

SEATTLE – After being recognized as Big Ten Co-Offensive Player of the Week earlier this week, Jonah Coleman earns Doak Walker National Running Back of the Week honors.
He is the first Husky since Dillon Johnson in 2023 to earn the weekly honor.
Coleman ran for 177 yards and two touchdowns on a career-high 24 rush attempts in the Huskies win over Colorado State on Saturday. He also added 22 receiving yards and matched a career-high with a 26-yard kick return.
Entering the season, Coleman was placed on the Doak Walker and Maxwell Award watch lists.
