UW's 2026 Games Vs. Iowa And At Purdue Moved To Friday

Two Washington football games on the 2026 schedule have been moved to Friday, the Big Ten Conference and FOX Sports announced today. The Huskies' home game vs. Iowa and road game the following week at Purdue will be played on Fridays.
The Iowa game at Husky Stadium will be played on Friday, Oct. 9, and the following week, Washington will make its first trip to Purdue since 1990 for a game on Friday, Oct. 16. The Iowa game will air on FOX or FS1 at 6:00 p.m. PT (subject to change), depending on the baseball playoffs schedule, while the Purdue game will air on FOX, at 5:00 p.m. PT. Times for the first three weeks of the season will be announced in the coming weeks.
There will be no additional changes (in terms of days of the week) to the Husky schedule for 2026.
