Women's Tennis Blanks Loyola Marymount

LOS ANGELES, Calif. - The Washington women's tennis team recorded a win on the road when they shut-out Loyola Marymount (4-3) this evening. The Huskies, ranked 42nd by the latest ITA poll, have extended their win streak to three and are now 6-2 on the season.
The Huskies were led by 22nd-ranked Kristina Kraszewski. The sophomore recorded a 6-2, 6-1 win over the Lion's Laura Gross in No.1 singles action. This win improves Kraszewski's record to 15-5 and extends her win-streak to three.
In doubles action, Kraszewski teamed with freshman Ilona Kordonskaya to form the No.1 doubles team. This duo defeated the Lion's tandem of Brahna Pastorini and Holli Freudenberg 8-1 and now own a 9-5 overall season record.
