Men's Soccer Adds Top Recruit

SEATTLE -- UW men's soccer coach Dean Wurzberger has added another player to the Huskies' 1999 roster in Chad Olesen, a goalkeeper from Issaquah High School. Oleson, 6-2, earned all-King County honorable mention accolades in 1996 and 1997, both seasons he played at Issaquah.
Oleson has served as team captain on his club team, the Eastside F.C. Red '80 Strikers, since 1993. He played on the Under-17 Premier 1 level squad and he is a member of the Under-18 Washington West State ODP team. He helped his club team win the Washington State Championship in 1993 and 1994, and finish runners-up in 1997. He earned MVP honors in 1994.
