Coach Gallimore on Waitley:
"McKenna was probably our best all-around player in the off season. She has no qualms about taking a shot from any angle which you like in a player. I think she can be someone who puts up some numbers on the board for us as far as creating goals and scoring herself."

GETTING TO KNOW MCKENNA WAITLEY
McKenna Waitley In Her Own Words I've grown up in San Diego, California, recently moving to nearby Coronado right by the beach. It's awesome! I have a huge family of 9: 6 sisters, 4 of which are quadruplets. Crazy story. I have always been really athletic and I love a lot of sports besides soccer. Beach Volleyball is one of my favorite things. Pitas and hummus are really good. I'm obsessed with wearing headbands like Indians do, and everybody knows that. I love making music videos. I think a lot more than I talk. After going to Brasil, I really want to travel a lot after college & play soccer. I miss San Diego and the sun but I like how everything is green in Seattle! My dream job would be to design for Nike or my own company. I also really like photography. But for now I enjoy playing soccer for the Huskies and want to win an NCAA CHAMPIONSHIP! |
