Husky Rowing Experience: 2000 (Freshman): Rowed two seat in freshman eight that won a silver medal at IRA Championships ... rowed four seat at Pac-10 Championships when freshmen finished second, and for wins on Opening Day, against Cal in dual regatta and for gold medal performance at San Diego Crew Classic.
Personal: Son of Jean Liston ... has one younger brother, Robert, a freshman at Washington State.
I chose Washington because: It's a great school and it was close to home.
The best thing about Seattle is: The outdoors, surrounded by all the mountains
The best thing about UW is: The variety every day.
Favorite class: Engineering 100
My best race was: The Cal dual last year at Redwood Shores. We were down a half-length off the start and walked through them on their home course.
After I graduate, I plan to: Have a family and a successful career.
