I chose Washington because: I wanted to attend a large school on the west coast where I would have many choices on what I could study.
The best thing about Seattle is: Being in a big city that is so close to mountains, lakes, and the ocean.
The best thing about UW is: The view of Mt. Rainier from campus.
Favorite Class: Political Science 360: American Constitutional Law
My best race was: Last year's win against WSU in the varsity-four. Although it wasn't necessarily the best rowed race, we were all determined to do everything we could to win, which is what made that race feel the most successful.
After I graduate, I plan to: Travel the world, then attend law school and get a job with a professional sports team or a college athletic department.
If I could tell my incoming teammates one thing, it would be: Sleep is very important.
Gardner says: "The nectar is in the journey."
