1998 (Freshman): Rowed in the two seat on the varsity four at NCAAs ... helped lead the boat to a fourth place finish and eventual NCAA team title ... rowed in the six seat for the novice eight in Opening Day victories, in Cal and WSU dual regattas and at San Diego.1999 (Sophomore): Rowed in the six seat with the varsity eight ... helped UW win its eighth straight Pac-10 and Whittier Cup title ... boat finished fifth in its grand final at NCAAs and was third overall in the team standings ... rowed with the South African National Team in Europe during the summer ... earned bronze and silver medals at the Commonwealth Games ... rowed in a double at the World Championships.
