2001 (Senior):Washington's constant threat both offensively and blocking at the net ... quick, whip-like arm swing enables her to attack the ball almost instantly ... has worked on her foot work blocking at the net ... smart blocker, who gets her hands on a lot of balls ... a true team player, who leads by example.

1999 (Sophomore): The Huskies' top middle player in 1999, Underhill was second on the team with her 92 blocks (one short of Laffling's 93) and 289 kills ... 13 block solos lead the Huskies ... named an honorable mention selection on both the All-Pac-10 and Academic All-Pac-10 teams ... played in all but two games and in every match ... posted 10 or more kills in 13 matches ... the only Husky in 1999 to record a double-double in kills and blocks with 17 kills and 12 blocks vs. Arizona in Seattle ... began the season with a 15 kills, six digs and six blocks against Illinois-Chicago ... had a strong hitting performance against Stanford on Sept. 16, posting a .529 mark (11 kills, 2 errors, 17 attacks) ... followed that with two straight outstanding matches ... against Cal (Sept. 17), hit .515 with 20 kills and three errors on 33 tries ... the next match at Oregon, hit .500 (22-5-34) ... 22 kills in the win over Oregon were a career high ... notched 21 kills and hit .429 at WSU ... best hitting match of the season came Nov. 6 vs. Arizona State, when she had 14 kills and only one error on 22 swings, good for a .591 percentage ... had 10 or more kills in eight of the season's last 10 matches
1998 (RS-Freshman): Burst on the scene as one of the Huskies' starting quick hitters ... spent the season among the top seven or eight in the Pac-10 in blocking, and finished eighth with 1.27 per game ... one of only three Husky freshmen ever to record 100 blocks in a season (Tuiasosopo and Desilets were the others) ... third on the team in kills and second in hitting percentage ... one of only three Huskies to play in every game ... recorded double-digit kills in 12 matches ... top kills match was Oct. 9 vs. Oregon when she had 17 to go with only four errors on 35 attacks (.371) ... top hitting game may have been vs. California on Nov. 1, when she hit 13-1-27 (.444) ... 12 block assists vs. Oregon on Oct. 9 were the most by any Pac-10 player all season.

RANCHO BUENA VISTA HS A three-year letterwinner under coach Tom Saunders ... named all-league and all-CIF as a senior ... earned the San Diego Union-Tribune's Volleyball Player of the Year Award as a senior ... led team to section title as a senior and went 14-0 and won league as a junior ... played for San Diego Volleyball Club ... a four-year letterwinner in track, competing in the long jump and high jump ... went to state meet in the high jump, taking second place, as a senior ... named the San Diego Section athlete of the year for her volleyball and track accomplishments ... also named the field athlete of the year by the San Diego Union-Tribune as a junior ... a four-year honor roll student who graduated with a 3.78 GPA ... won her school's scholar-athlete award as a senior and was a member of the California Scholarship Federation.
