McMorrow Gets Home Cooking At Pac-10sFreshman Kyle McMorrow has posted a team-best 17-5 dual record this season with all but one match coming at the No. 2 singles spot, no easy task for a rookie in the Pac-10 Conference. But McMorrow was accustomed to success in a fantastic prep career, much of which was based around Ojai, California, where McMorrow and the rest of t A native of Thousand Oaks, which is less than an hour away from Ojai in Venutra Country, McMorrow grew up competing in the junior tourney and watching the Pac-10 matches. More than that, his grandfather was a former president of the tourney and his family still lives in the area. The Ventura County Star talked to McMorrow and head coach Matt Anger as part of its Pac-10 tourney preview. Here is an excerpt: "The Washington players always receive housing during The Ojai, and McMorrow's hosts were an easy call. He plans to bunk with mom and dad.
