2024-25 (Senior -- Fall Season)
- Qualified for the fall NCAA Singles Championship for the first time, and advanced to the second round, the first Husky to win an NCAA Singles match since 2013
- Defeated Anton Arzhankin (Mich.) by a 6-3, 6-1 in the first round
- Made it to the finals of the ITA Northwest Regional Championship, playing against #56 Carl Emil Overbeck (Cal)
2023-24 (Junior)
- Named to the All-Pac-12 First Team after playing the majority of the season at the No. 1 singles spot
- Earned a career-high doubles ranking of No. 10 along with Dzianis Zharyn on Feb. 7, just the third Husky doubles duo to crack the ITA top-10 and the first since 2005
- With Zharyn, had one of the highlights of the year for the Dawgs as they made the doubles semifinals at the ITA National Fall Championships, beating teams from Washburn, Wake Forest, and TCU before falling to No. 2-ranked Baris/Sheldon of Michigan State in the semis
- Semis trip at Fall Championships was the farthest run ever by a Husky doubles pair at an ITA national tourney
- Went 7-9 in dual singles play, 5-9 at the No. 1 spot and 2-0 at the No. 2 spot
- First ranked win of the year over No. 101 Quinn Vandecasteele of Oregon, 6-3, 6-4, at No. 1 on Mar. 7
- Led 4-2 upset of No. 49 USC, beating 64th-ranked Peter Makk, 6-1, 2-6, 7-6 (4)
- Led 31st-ranked Nishesh Basavareddy of Stanford, 6-2, 5-6, but did not finish
- Was 10-10 in doubles dual matches, going 8-7 with Zharyn, 0-2 with Han-Chih Lin, 1-0 with Heman Nama, and 1-1 with Jim Hendrikx
- With Zharyn, had a top-10 win over No. 9 Tudorica/Grevelius of South Florida, 6-2
- Only played two singles matches in the fall, going 1-1 at ITA NW Super Regionals
- Made ITA NW Super Regional doubles final with Zharyn, beating teams from Cal, Pacific, and Oregon before falling in the final to Alam/Trainauskas of Pacific
- Had a fall preseason singles ranking of No. 41
- Finished the year ranked No. 71 in doubles with Zharyn
- Earned ITA All-Academic Honors and Pac-12 Spring Academic Honor Roll
2022-23 (Sophomore)
- Earned All-Pac-12 Second Team selection with the best record on the team, going 19-2 in dual matches and 26-6 overall. In dual play, was 2-1 at No. 2 singles and 17-1 at No. 3.
- Earned his first ITA national singles ranking on Mar. 7, at No. 85, and rose as high as No. 71 before ending the season ranked 82nd.
- Won his first 17 dual matches in a row. Only lost one set in his first nine dual matches.
- Also won his final five fall matches, which made for a 22-match win streak.
- His .813 season winning percentage tied for 10th-best in school history.
- First Top-20 win when he upset 18th-ranked Gavin Young of Michigan, 7-6 (2), 6-3, on Feb. 26.
- A second Top-20 win, upsetting No. 12 Nishesh Basavareddy of Stanford, 7-6 (1), 6-3, in the Husky upset of the 17th-ranked Cardinal.
- Additional Pac-12 wins came over Oregon’s Ivailo Keremedchiev (2x), Francisco Bastias of Utah, Jacob Bullard of Arizona State, and Ryder Jackson of California.
- In doubles, played the full spring season with Dzianis Zharyn at No. 1 doubles, going 12-7
- With Zharyn, ranked a season-high No. 44 and ended the season ranked No. 87.
- Ended the season with a big 6-1 win over Arizona’s 42nd-ranked Ziverts/Friend at Pac-12s.
- Had five ranked doubles wins with Zharyn, over No. 30 Kajin/Sanchez Gonzalez of Louisiana, No. 10 Charlton/Vandecasteele of Oregon, No. 26 Trhac/Bugarikj of Utah, No. 88 Oberbeck/Kikuchi of Cal, and No. 42 Ziverts/Friend of Arizona
- Also had No. 1 Pac-12 wins over Bullard/Koshis of Arizona State, Revelli/Li of UCLA, and Chaudhary/Kolasinski of Stanford.
- Named to the Pac-12 Spring Academic Honor Roll.
2021-22 (Freshman)
- Joined the team at the start of winter quarter at just 17 years old and did not turn 18 until after the season was over, in June.
- Played a big role in the team reaching NCAAs, going 11-8 in dual singles play and 11-6 in dual doubles play
- Was 2-1 at No. 4 singles, 7-6 at No. 5 singles, and 2-1 at No. 6 singles
- Had two huge clinching wins in the Pac-12 Championships, first clinching the upset of No. 1-seed Arizona with a 6-3, 7-6 (4) win over Carlos Hassey, then clinched the semifinal win over UCLA with a 6-7 (3), 6-4, 6-4 win over Stefan Leustian
- Also had Pac-12 wins over Arizona State’s Nicola Cigna on Apr. 15 (7-6, 6-4), Oregon’s Luke Vandecasteele on Apr. 6 (6-2, 6-4), and UCLA’s Eric Hahn on Apr. 1 (6-3, 6-3)
- Big victory during the ITA National Team Indoor Championships, defeating Georgia’s Thomas Paulsell, 7-6 (4), 6-1, at No. 6, in the close 4-3 loss
- A win in his first collegiate match on Jan. 28, beating Javier Ruiz of Utah State, 6-4, 6-1
- In doubles, went 7-4 with Ewen Lumsden, 3-2 with Han-Chih Lin, and 1-0 with Brandon Wong
- Had big doubles win with Wong in Pac-12 tourney win over UCLA, defeating Fradkin/Pereira at No. 3, 6-4
- Defeated Georgia’s Croyder/Grevelius at No. 3 doubles with Lumsden, 6-2
Personal Notes
Born in Annecy, France … parents are Veronique and Olivier Bouchelaghem … the oldest of four siblings … attended CNED (National Centre for Distance Education) based in Albertville, France, graduating at the age of 15 … had a career-high ITF Junior World Ranking of 198 … won two Grade 4 ITF Junior tournaments in 2021 in The Hague and Fuerth, Germany.
