Patrick Bowlin enters his first season as an assistant coach for the University of Washington women's basketball program in 2026–27, joining head coach Tina Langley's staff. Bowlin brings more than a decade of coaching experience and a proven track record of success, including multiple conference championships and NCAA Tournament appearances.
Bowlin arrives at Washington following a successful stint at Green Bay, where he helped sustain one of the Horizon League's premier programs. In 2025–26, the Phoenix posted a 25–9 overall record and a 17–3 mark in conference play, capturing both the Horizon League regular-season and tournament championships for the third consecutive year and earning an automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament. Guard Jenna Guyer was named Horizon League Tournament MVP.
Prior to his return to Green Bay, Bowlin spent the 2024–25 season as an assistant coach at Idaho State. The Bengals advanced to the Big Sky Tournament semifinals, while Kacey Spink earned All-Defensive Team honors and Tasia Jordan garnered Second Team All-Big Sky recognition.
Bowlin's first tenure at Green Bay came under head coach Kevin Borseth and spanned three seasons. He served as Director of Basketball Operations from 2021–23 before being elevated to assistant coach for the 2023–24 campaign.
During that period, the Phoenix claimed the 2022–23 Horizon League regular-season title and the 2023–24 Horizon League Tournament championship. Green Bay also produced several All-League performers, including Bailey Butler, Hailey Oskey, Maddy Schreiber, Sydney Levy and Natalie McNeal. Bowlin's connection to the university dates back to 2013–14, when he served on the Green Bay volleyball staff.
Before entering the collegiate ranks, Bowlin spent four seasons as a girls' basketball head coach in Minnesota, leading programs at Totino-Grace High School (2017–20) and Rogers High School (2020–21).
A native of Winona, Minnesota, Bowlin earned his bachelor's degree from St. John's University in 2012.
