Lauren WilsonΒ serves as an assistant coach for the Washington womenβs basketball team. She will enter her second season with the HuskiesΒ in 2025-26.

In the 2024-25 campaign, WilsonΒ helped the Huskies return to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2017. Her scouting insights supported a successful transition into the Big Ten conference, with Washington earning its most conference wins in eight years. Additionally, her work with the team contributed to Washington leading the Big Ten in field goal percentage (49.3%), 3-point percentage (40.1%), and free throw percentage (83.6%) during conference play.Β

Wilson has also assisted with recruiting operations for the Huskies, helping land the No. 14 recruiting class in 2025, per ESPNβs rankings. Notably, this class included the commitment of five-star Brynn McGaughy, the highest-ranked recruit in Washington history. Additionally, Wilson helped oversee the Huskiesβ academics as the team maintainedΒ an excellent 3.43 GPA during the season and earning their fourth consecutive perfect Academic Progress Rating from the NCAA β a mark tied for the highest among Big Ten programs.

During her three seasons as a player for the Huskies, she was a two-time All-Pac-12 selection. Wilson started all 144 games of her five-season collegiate career (88 at UW), where she accumulated 1,534 points (900 at UW), 454 rebounds (224 at UW), 317 assists (189 at UW), and 117 steals (80 at UW).

In her senior season, Wilson earned All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention and earned a spot on the Pac-12 Winter Academic Honor Roll. In her first season at UW, she led the team in minutes per game (32.9), free throw percentage (89.5%), and three-pointers made (28). WilsonΒ played a key role in Washington's run to theΒ WNIT Fab Four in 2023 and itsΒ WBIT appearance in 2024.

Before transferring to Washington, Wilson played her first two collegiate seasons under head coach Tina Langley at Rice. At Rice, Wilson started all 56 games, setting the program record for three-point shooting percentage in postseason play (46.8%) and leading Rice to their first-ever WNIT Championship. She earned All-Tournament honors in both the WBIT and C-USA, as well asΒ All-Conference recognition her sophomore season.

Wilson graduated from Washington with a bachelorβs degree in public health-global healthΒ and a masterβs degree in entrepreneurship. A native of Union, Ky., Wilson is the daughter of Scott and Amy Schwartz and has two sisters, Mallory and Brooke.
