TEMPE, Ariz. - The Washington volleyball team lost its fourth straight match Friday night, falling to Arizona State in three games at Wells Fargo Arena. Game scores were 15-12, 16-14, 15-4.
The Huskies fell to 6-10 overall and 2-6 in the Pac-10 while ASU improved to 8-4, 4-2.
Senior Kristina Laffling led the Huskies with 12 kills while sophomore Allison Richardson tallied 10 kills and 14 digs, but the Huskies hit only .068 as a team. Sophomore Malena Thompson notched a career high with 15 kills.
Amanda Burbridge led Arizona State with 13 kills while Jami Coughlin had a match-high 18 digs.
The Huskies travel across the state next Friday to take on Washington State in Pullman.
