Team Records and Series Notes
Washington improved to 8-6, 3-1 in the Pac-10 Conference. Arizona fell to 7-7, 1-3.
The Huskies upped their overall record against the Wildcats to 32-18, 20-5 at Bank of America Arena. UW also snapped a two-game losing streak to UA.
This was the first time Washington has swept the Arizona schools at home since the 2002-03 season.
Team Game Notes
Line-up: Sami Whitcomb, Mackenzie Argens, Regina Rogers, Sarah Morton and Kristi Kingma. Washington has used this lineup in all but one game this season (BYU).
The announced crowd of 3,957 was a season-high at Bank of America Arena.
Individual Game Notes
Sophomore Kristi Kingma tied a career-high with 25 points. She set career bests in steals (5) and free throws (12). She also tied her personal mark of seven rebounds.
Laura McLellan set a season-high with 15 points on 5-10 shooting. McLellan had not scored in double digits this season until this afternoon's game.
The Huskies committed a season-low 11 turnovers.
This was the first win for the Huskies in which they've shot under 40 percent from the floor (.333)
Kingma scored in double figures for the fifth time this season. She's now second on the team in scoring (9.5 ppg)
