CHICAGO - Terrence Ross and Tony Wroten are among 60 NBA hopefuls invited to the draft combine to be held in Chicago on Thursday, June 7 and Friday, June 8. The players will participate in drills and undergo measurement under the watchful eyes of front office personnel.
Ross and Wroten both declared for the NBA Draft in April after completing the 2012 college season. The sophomore Ross and freshman Wroten were the Huskies top two scorers during the season.
Both are projected by most pundits to be selected in the first round of the draft, which takes place on Thursday, June 28.
The Huskies have a strong history of sending players to the NBA. Seven players with Husky ties suited up for NBA teams last year.
Since Husky Coach Lorenzo Romar took over the program, a total of eight players have been selected in the first or second round of the draft -- five in the first round (including Martell Webster, who signed with Washington but never suited up) and three in the second round.
