STANFORD, Calif. - Washington shot 11-over par 295 for a second-consecutive day to finish the Peg Barnard Invitational fourth out of 13 teams.
The Huskies finished one stroke behind UC Davis and seven behind California. Host Stanford combined to shoot 4-under on Sunday and ran away with the 14-shot victory.
Stanford was buoyed by freshman Mariah Stackhouse who shot an course record 10-under 61 in the final round to win the individual title by 10 strokes.
Husky sophomore SooBin Kim was the highest UW finisher, notching her ninth top-10 finish in 17 career tournments. Kim shot 145 (+3) overall and tied for eighth.
On Sunday Kim shot 1-over 72, a round that featured just two bogeys and one birdie. In three previous tournaments at Stanford Golf Course, Kim had a first, second and third-place result.

"She just couldn't get anything going, but nobody really could," said Husky Coach Mary Lou Mulflur. In all, the Huskies had just 7 birdies on Sunday.
"When you start making birdies it's kind of contagious. Once one person gets going, they start falling. We just never really got going."
Freshman Charlotte Thomas had the best round of the day among Huskies. She rebounded from an 8-over 79 on Saturday with a 1-under on 70. She led Washington with 3 birdies during the day, but a double-bogey on the par-3 17th hole.
Thomas was 7-over 149 overall and 17th in the field of 73.
Sophomore Cyd Okino was third among Huskies and tied for 24th at 8-over 150. She was 6-over in Sunday's round.
Jennifer Yang tied for 26th with scores of 151. Luo was 5-over on the day, while Yang shot 6-over.
Brittany Tallman, competing as an individual, tied Luo and Yang with a 26th-place finish. She shot 75-76.
The Huskies return to action in a week when they compete at the Westbrook Spring Invitational in Peoria, Arizona.
