2004-05 (Sophomore): Selected to Pac-10 All-Academic honorable mention team... posted a 13-5 singles record, 5-3 in dual play...saw time in the singles lineup, going 1-1 at No. 4, 1-1 at No. 5 and 3-1 at No. 6...won Flight B of the Santa Clara Bronco Classic by reeling off four straight victories...won 11 of his first 12 singles matches, including a 7-0 streak to open the season...defeated seventh-seed Pac-10 Co-Freshman of the Year James Wan of Stanford in straight sets (7-6, 6-2) in the round of 32 at ITA Regionals...reached the fourth round at ITA Regionals before falling to Arnar Sigurdsson of Pacific (6-3, 6-3)...reached the second round of the invitational bracket at Pac-10 Championships...1-0 when facing ranked opponents...went 1-0 in only doubles match of the season with Alex Slovic, defeating the Idaho duo of Hieb/Jones.
2003-04 (Freshman): Made significant contributions in his first season, playing No. 6 singles in the majority of Washington's dual matches...was 5-6 in dual matches at sixth singles and compiled a winning record overall of 12-11...had an impressive eight match winning streak from the end of fall through the beginning of dual season...earned four wins over Pac-10 opponents including a win at sixth singles over Oregon's Chris King in UW's 6-1 conference play win...stepped up to No. 5 singles once vs. UCLA and nearly upset his highest-ranked opponent, No. 62 Kris Kwynta, falling 6-4 in the third set...rarely saw action in doubles, going 2-2.
Juniors/High School: 2003 graduate of Naples High School in Naples, Fla....as a junior led team to Florida state title and earned singles state champion title playing in the No. 2 position and was second in the state in doubles...earned two letters in tennis at Mercer Island High School before moving to Florida...led team to two-straight state championships...singles state champion as a freshman...was doubles state champion during sophomore year...played four years for Mercer Island Country Club...advanced to doubles quarterfinals at the Clay Court Super Nationals in Louisville, Ken., (2002-03)...also advanced to the round of 16 at the Winter Super Nationals in Palm Springs, Calif. (2001-02) and to the third round of the main draw at the Hard Court Super Nationals in Kalamazoo, Mich. (2002).
