
UW Earns 6-1 win at Colorado, Moves to 2-0 in Pac-12 Play

The Huskies opened the day by winning the doubles point with victories on courts one and three. Elianne Douglas-Miron and Miki Kobayashi collected an 8-6 win at the one spot while Julija Lukac and Grace Ysidora battled for an 8-5 win on court three. Washington has won the doubles point in six of its last seven matches.
Heading into singles play, Colorado evened the score after Douglas-Miron had to retire her match on court one but it was all Huskies after that as the remaining five won each of their matches in straight-sets.
Lukac extended her singles winning streak to 11-straight as she posted a 6-1, 6-0 decision on court four followed by Miki Kobayashi's 6-3, 6-2 win on the number three line. Grace Ysidora won match on court two, 6-3, 6-2 while Capucine Gregoire pushed her winning streak to seven straight at number six singles with her 6-2, 6-1 win. Riko Shimizu closed out the day for the Dawgs as she earned a 6-3, 6-2 win at the five spot.
The Dawgs will stay on the road as they next face Utah on Sunday, March 22 at 10 a.m.
