SEATTLE – McKenzie Fechter, Jackie McCartin and Madison Podlucky each finished in the top-three of their respective events as UW gymnastics celebrated the trio's Senior Night with a win over NC State Friday night at Alaska Airlines Arena.
"Our team performed very well tonight and put four good events together for the second time this week," head coach Joanne Bowers said. "It was very tight scoring tonight for both teams and I was proud of the way our team responded to the scoring by not letting it effect our energy. We have been talking about keeping our energy high no matter what scores are flashed. Having the seniors all perform well on senior night is always a bonus too. They have all done so much for UW Gymnastics and they were shown a lot of love from our team and fans tonight as a big thank you."
