
#25 GymDawgs Place Second at Texas Woman’s Quad Meet

DENTON, Texas -- The No. 25 Washington gymnastics team finished second at the Texas Woman's quad meet Sunday afternoon, earning a score of 196.625 and tying their third highest team score of the season.
No. 3 Florida won the meet, earning a 198.175. Washington finished with a 196.625, NC State a 196.350, and Texas Woman's a 195.575.
The GymDawgs earned a 49.300 on beam to start off the afternoon, earning their third highest score of the season.
Kennedi Davis led all Washington beam scoring in the anchor spot, tying her career-high 9.950 and tying for first place on the event. Skylar Killough-Wilhelm and Lana Navarro both earned a 9.875.
On the floor exercise, Washington earned a 49.025 where they were led by Hadley Roberts and Amara Cunningham, both earning 9.825s.
A 49.175 marked the second highest vault score of the season for the GymDawgs, led by four gymnasts earning a 9.850 including Navarro (tied her career-high), Davis, Killough-Wilhelm, and Emily Innes.
After three rotations, Washington was set in second place between No. 3 Florida and NC State where they ultimately finished the meet.
Deiah Moody led off for the GymDawgs on bars and tied her season-high 9.850. Morgan Bowles tied her career-best on bars in the anchor spot, earning a 9.925 for the second straight meet.

All eight Pac-12 gymnastics programs will meet in the Pac-12 Championships on Saturday, March 18. Action will be split up into two sessions, a morning and an evening session. Further information on teams in each session will be announced soon.
