MANHATTAN BEACH, Calif. -- Washington headed to Southern California over the weekend for its second week of fall pairs competition, playing at Manhattan Beach in the AVCA West Region Qualifier. The Beach Dawgs had eleven different pairs take to the sand over the three-day competition.

Washington had two teams entered in the top Gold Pool: Katarina Pantovic and Lauren Wilcock, along with Kendall Mather and Jade Sadeiko. Pantovic and Wilcock had a couple wins over teams from Pepperdine and South Florida, and Mather/Sadeiko picked up victories over pairs from Cal and Grand Canyon.

The Huskies will head right back to SoCal next week for the Surf City Collegiate Challenge at Huntington Beach on Oct. 26-27.
